Ridley Island Terminals

  • Due to a strong Asian demand for thermal coal, the opening of new coal mines in northern British Columbia has increased the coal throughput at Ridley Island Terminals to 2.8 million tonnes up 177 percent in 2006
  • Ridley Terminals partnered with Houston Pellet Inc late in 2006 to build a wood pellet handling facility. They loaded their first vessel in May of 2007 and have shipped approximately one vessel per month since
