Scheduled construction to begin early 2009, pending completion of remaining regulatory approvals
Wind farm located on 731 hectares on southern slope of Mount Hays
18 Wind Turbines, can generate power for up to 10,000 homes
Has been awarded an Electricity Power Agreement (EPA) from BC Hydro to provide the utility with electricity from the Mount Hays Wind Farm for 25 years
Committed to the highest environmental standards, they will be conducting an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of the proposed project and identify any required measures to eliminate or minimize identified potential effects.
